What is FFA?
FFA is a dynamic youth organization that changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
FFA is an intracurricular student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. It is one of the three components of agricultural education.
The official name of the organization is the National FFA Organization. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change.
About the Boosters
The Mariposa FFA Boosters originated in 1995 and funds many activities for our Mariposa County High School Agriculture Department. Because of you, your donations, the generous community, and many teachers and volunteers, we have been able to supply necessary materials for our Agriculture Department, Ag Mechanics Horticultural classes and FFA activities. We plan to continue to aid in the funding of travel expenses for student field trips, student competitions, the National and State FFA Conventions. Yearly we provided scholarships to outstanding Mariposa FFA students. 100% of your generous donation(s) will help our Mariposa FFA students grow, prosper and reach goals never thought possible.
